![]() ![]() Questions such as: "As used in line 15." or "In paragraph 2 (lines 23-33)." These questions are your friends. Do the "easy" questions - the ones that point you pretty much right to the answer. ![]() What are they asking you? Where should you look? This is merely getting a feel for the passage, like having a smell of chocolate, but not eating it. Read the blurb (the intro material at the top of the passage). I know, you're thinking, "But what about those 'passage-as-a-whole' questions, like 'The main idea of this passage is.'? Don't I need to read the whole passage to answer those?" You should really only read what you need to answer the questions. This isn't like a reading test in school, where you basically fail if you don't read all the material. ![]() All the info you need is in there, yes, but it's surrounded by info that isn't necessary. In my experience, you don't "have" to read the whole passage. ![]()
